Prerequisites

Before you start, make sure you have the following ready:

• Valid email address and a mobile phone number (for SMS verification)
• Government-issued photo ID (driver’s licence or passport) for KYC checks
• A payment method accepted by Pointsbet: debit/credit card, PayPal, or e-wallet like Skrill
• Minimum age of 21 (or the legal gambling age in your jurisdiction)
• Stable internet connection – a modern browser or the Pointsbet app works best

Note: If you are playing from a region where Pointsbet holds a Curacao licence, remember that winnings may be subject to local income tax. Always check with your tax authority.

1. Visit the official Pointsbet website using your preferred browser. Look for the “Join” or “Sign Up” button, typically in the top-right corner.
2. Fill in the registration form: full name, date of birth, email address, and a secure password. Make sure the password is at least eight characters with a mix of letters, numbers, and symbols.
3. Enter your residential address and contact number. Pointsbet may send a one-time code via SMS to verify your phone.
4. Optionally, enter any welcome offer code displayed on the site. You don’t need a special Reddit code – the standard bonus is available to all new players.

6. Click the link in the email to activate your account. Then log in with your email and password via the Pointsbet login page.

Maximising Your Bonus

Pointsbet typically offers a 100% deposit match up to a certain amount, plus free spins on selected slots. To get the most value, you need to understand the wagering requirements. Here is a worked example with realistic numbers:

Important: Wagering requirement means you must bet the bonus amount a certain number of times before withdrawal. For the $50 bonus with 35x playthrough, the total you need to wager is: $50 × 35 = $1,750.

If you win $10 from the free spins, that win must be wagered 35 times: $10 × 35 = $350. So your total wagering target is $1,750 + $350 = $2,100.

To finish the wagering efficiently, choose slots with high RTP (96%+) and keep your bets moderate (e.g., 1% of your balance per spin). This gives you the best chance of converting the bonus into real cash.

App & PWA Guide

Pointsbet does not have a dedicated app in the Google Play or Apple App Store. Instead, the platform offers a fully mobile-optimised website and a progressive web app (PWA) that you can launch directly from your browser. Here is how to set it up:

• Open your mobile browser (Chrome, Safari, or Firefox) and go to the Pointsbet login page.
• Log in with your credentials. The site automatically adjusts to your screen size.
• For iOS: tap the Share icon, then “Add to Home Screen”. For Android: tap the three-dot menu, then “Add to Home Screen” or “Install App”.
• Once added, the PWA icon sits on your home screen. It loads faster than a browser tab and supports push notifications for bonuses and promotions.
• All features – deposit, withdrawal, live chat, and game library – are available in the PWA. No download needed.

Use the Pointsbet app (PWA) for quick access to your account, especially if you check odds or play slots on the go.

Insider Advice

Protect your gambling experience by using the responsible gambling tools available on Pointsbet. Set a deposit limit before you start playing: go to Account Settings → Responsible Gambling → Deposit Limit. Choose a daily, weekly, or monthly cap that fits your budget. Also set a session limit that warns you after 30 minutes of play, and use the self-exclusion option if you need a break. These tools are free and can be adjusted (with a cooling-off period) when you want to increase them.
