How Wagering Works
When you claim a bonus, like a 100% match bonus up to €100, you must wager the bonus amount a certain number of times before you can withdraw winnings. Let’s say the wagering requirement is 35x the bonus.
If you deposit €50 and get a €50 bonus, your total bonus is €50. Your wagering requirement is: 35 × €50 = €1,750. You need to place bets totaling €1,750 before you can cash out any winnings that came from the bonus.
Here’s a detailed example with a real formula:
Let B = bonus amount (€50) and W = wagering multiplier (35). Then required turnover R = B × W = €50 × 35 = €1,750.
If you play a slot with a 96% RTP, on average you’ll lose 4% of each bet. To meet the requirement, you’ll mathematically lose about 0.04 × €1,750 = €70. That’s more than your bonus, so expect to lose your deposit if you only play high-volatility slots. Choose games that contribute 100% to wagering, and always check the game weighting table.
To illustrate, if you bet €2 per spin, you need 1,750 ÷ 2 = 875 spins to complete the wagering. At 3 seconds per spin, that’s about 44 minutes of gameplay.
Some bonuses have a maximum bet cap (e.g., €5 per spin) while wagering. Exceeding it voids the bonus.
Payment Methods
| Method | Deposit Speed | Withdrawal Speed | Fees |
|---|---|---|---|
| Visa/Mastercard | Instant | 2–5 business days | 0% |
| Skrill/Neteller | Instant | Under 24 hours | 0% |
| Paysafecard | Instant | Not available for withdrawals | 0% |
| Bank Transfer | 1–3 business days | 5–10 business days | May incur a fee |
Note: Withdrawal times depend on KYC verification. If you haven’t verified your account, the first withdrawal can take longer.
Is It Safe?
Golden Pharaoh operates under a Curacao eGaming license, which provides a basic level of oversight. The site uses SSL encryption to protect your data, and it promotes responsible gambling by offering deposit limits and self-exclusion tools.
Important: Curacao-licensed casinos do not offer the same player protection as MGA or local licenses. Always check the casino’s reputation on independent review sites.
For EU/Nordic players, remember that winnings from a Curacao-licensed casino may be subject to local income tax. This is unlike MGA (Malta) or locally licensed casinos, where tax may be withheld or exempt. Keep records of your deposits and withdrawals for tax purposes.
The casino is a mobile-optimized website and a PWA. You can launch it from any browser, and it will behave like an app on your phone. No need to download from an app store; just add it to your home screen.
When Things Go Wrong
Even with a reliable casino, issues can arise. Here are five common scenarios and how to solve them:
1. Withdrawal is pending for longer than expected. Check that you’ve completed KYC. If you have, contact support via live chat or email. They usually respond within 24 hours.
2. Your bonus is voided. You may have exceeded the maximum bet. Read the bonus terms carefully. For example, if the max bet is €5, and you bet €10 on a spin, the bonus is voided.
3. You forgot your password. Click ‘Forgot Password’ on the login page. You’ll receive a reset link via email. Always choose a password manager to avoid forgetting.
4. The game doesn’t load. Clear your browser cache or try a different browser. If using the PWA, update it by removing and re-adding it to your home screen.
5. You think you have a gambling problem. Use the self-exclusion tool immediately, and set a permanent deposit limit. Contact support for assistance.
